UV Light Air Purification

Ultra violet (UV) light sterilizes microorganisms.  Medical studies have proven UV light's sanitizing properties on bacteria and viruses such as influenza.  The benefit of installing a UV light is that it can eliminate many of the air pollutants filtration systems cannot catch - the two work hand in hand.

A UV light will illuminate an internal area of your air conveyance system.  As air circulates through the system, it is automatically disinfected. This process rapidly reduces airborne bacteria, viruses and allergens.  UV lights are available with or without the additional cleansing properties of ozone. Light units must be properly sealed as exposure to UV light can burn the retina of the eyes and skin.  Bulbs are commonly 12W and should be replaced every year to ensure maximum performance.
